C is a general-purpose, high-level procedural programming language. It is developed at Bell Labs by Dennis M. Ritchie for developing Operating System. C language is the successor of B language which was developed in the early 1970s.
Nowadays C has become the most popular and widely used programming language as it is a structural language which is easy to learn and produces efficient programs. C language can also handle low-level activities and can be run on various computer platforms.
