C++ is the mid-level programming language developed in 1979 by Bjarne Stroustrup at Bell Labs where C language was also developed. This programming language has object-oriented and generic programming features. It can run on multiple platforms like Unix, Linux, Windows, macOS, etc. C++ is an extension of the C programming language.
The main feature of the C++ programming language is it comes with a collection of predefined classes. You can also define your own classes in C++ language. Initially, this language was called “C with classed” as it was providing Class as an additional feature with C language and renamed in 1983 as C++ programming language.
